I don’t want the monitor to be able to shut off the connected device, i.e. no relay.. just monitor the power. It would be nice if it has a way to customize the webserver interface, otherwise I’ll need my own DIY ESP32 solution? For example, the webserver would just be a green background when running, and red when off.
Is there a COTS solution, or am I better off modifying ESPHome and flashing it onto a Sonoff S31 / Athom Plug / Tasmota US Plug V2 ?

Will a iHome plug double pack like it looks like a cylinder plug work with a a Arcade1up machine?
(Edit: I’m editing this at night and I am using a plug for the arcade with a switch always on the on part of the switch)
you know the screw goes horizontal by law of all that is electricity.
The Globe are the best for cost as low as $6 each and app does everything, incl cycle switch to on with timer, sun cycles, and range is good. Most other brands lack some app features. All my devices that do not come on after power loss can be modified to work with a switch on case to come on, takes electronics knowhow. I have them in my bath exhaust fan and heater. My Jacuzzi motherboard failed and it works now with 3 wifi switches and 30 amp relays to operate pumps, heater and a $4 floating thermometer. Emporia $6 smart switches are great for kwh accurate down to .1 watts.
